Pressure Washing
Salt air, humidity, and shade grow mildew and green film fast on the coast. Request quotes for washing that brings siding, drives, decks, and fences back to clean.

Common pressure washing requests
- House and siding washing
- Driveway, walkway, and patio cleaning
- Deck, dock, and fence washing
- Roof soft washing for black streaks and algae
- Pool deck and screened porch cleaning
- Pre-paint and pre-sale cleaning
Coastal property note
Mildew, algae, and salt film come back faster here than inland. Many providers recommend gentler “soft washing” for roofs and siding, and stronger pressure only for hard surfaces like concrete.
Tell the provider what the surface is made of (vinyl, stucco, wood, composite, shingle, pavers). The wrong pressure can damage it.
Include photos and useful details in your request when possible.
Pressure Washing questions
What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water, which suits concrete and other hard surfaces. Soft washing uses low pressure with a cleaning solution, which is gentler on siding, roofs, and screens. Ask the provider which they plan to use for each surface.
Can pressure washing damage my house?
It can if the pressure is too high or the nozzle is too close, especially on wood, older siding, and shingles. Describe the surfaces in your request and ask how the provider protects plants, windows, and lights.
How often should a coastal home be washed?
It depends on shade, trees, and how close you are to the water. Many homes are washed about once a year, with shaded or waterfront homes needing it more often.
Does requesting a quote cost anything?
No. Your request is free and does not obligate you to hire a provider.
